Luxury Boutique Hotel in the Cape Winelands
De Stellenbosch, in the heart of South Africa’s wine region, is a collection of historic farmstead buildings dating back to the early 1900s that have been restored and re-imagined to create a unique luxury boutique hotel in Stellenbosch.
A storied history connects De Stellenbosch with South Africa’s early wine and fruit farms of Vredenberg and Lanzerac, and Sir Herbert Baker’s renowned architecture.
Dieselbrook was briefed to create the identity that would tap into the hotel’s unique setting while remaining true to the history and the architecture.
With the region’s rich history and indigenous flora and fauna firmly in mind, we designed a logo and related brand assets that spoke directly to Stellenbosch as a world-famous destination and managed to evoke a sense of nostalgia.
We were able to extend this understated sophistication to all of the hotel’s graphic elements and corporate stationery.
